At the Cabrio & Sportscars Salon Düsseldorf, I presented my first collaborative art project with Autohaus Nauen – an extraordinary fusion of automotive design and emotional art. I had long dreamed of literally bringing art into motion – and here, it became a reality.
Several vehicles, including iconic VW Beetles, were transformed into moving canvases, adorned with sensual, stylish female portraits – inspired by the charm of bygone decades, Art Deco, and the freedom of modern femininity. Colors that vibrate. Lines that flow. Forms that merge with the bodywork instead of clashing with it.
"For me, the woman on the Beetle represents the reclaiming of the road by femininity – not in battle, but in style."
Some vehicles were custom-designed: vibrant floral motifs framed the female figures, radiating joy, self-confidence, and sensuality. The paintings were classically created with acrylic on paper, digitized, and then transferred as high-quality foils onto the vehicles – art that moves, lives, and touches people on the street.
The exhibition itself became a gallery on wheels. Visitors stopped, took photos, smiled, and marveled. Especially moving was the moment when a visitor bought one of the Beetles, saying: "I've never seen anything like this before. Now I'm driving a true work of art."
This project was the start of a series of further collaborations between art and brands, where my vision remains clear: art should bring joy, evoke emotions, and introduce beauty into everyday life – everywhere, even on four wheels.
