1. What do zodiac signs say about our inner strength?
The meaning of zodiac signs goes far beyond horoscopes. What fascinates me are not the predictions – but the inner images hidden behind each sign. For me, zodiac signs are archetypes: universal forces that act within us, whether we believe in astrology or not. They are an expression of human yearning – for clarity, identity, belonging.
Every person carries light and shadow within them. And sometimes, a symbol helps us to better understand these contrasts. This is where my zodiac art comes in: it translates the invisible into color, form, and expression. An Aries is more than just combative – they are also vulnerable. A Virgo is not just analytical, but deeply connected to the abundance of life.
The idea for the Zodiac series came to me one evening as I sat in my studio, wondering: How could one make a person's inner world visible – without words? I started sketching, quite intuitively. And suddenly, figures emerged that then became visible in this series of paintings.
Thus, each Zodiac painting became a soulful portrait. Not astrological – but archetypal. And perhaps that is precisely the secret: that we seek in the stars not our destiny, but an image of ourselves.
2. What significance do zodiac paintings have in my art?
Each of my Zodiac paintings is a portrait – not of a specific woman, but of an inner strength. I didn't "paint" them; I sought them out. In colors, symbols, gazes. Some wild, others soft. But all connected by what they show: the diversity of the feminine.
1. Zodiac Sign Aries
Aries – she looks over her shoulder, gentle and alert. The horns on her head symbolize strength, new beginnings, and the courage to just go. And yet she holds a white flower in her hand – a delicate symbol of the innocence behind the power. For me, she is the woman who does not hide, but still feels.
2. Zodiac Sign Taurus
Taurus – a scene full of warmth and reliability. The woman touches the bull as if he were an old friend. Their closeness is natural. No drama, no doubt. Just peace and sensuality. Those who carry this sign know how to enjoy – and how to give security.
3. Zodiac Sign Gemini
Gemini – two women, two bodies, in harmony. I wanted to paint them like sirens: seductive, playful, mysterious. And yet connected in a kind of non-verbal dialogue. This zodiac sign thrives on dialogue – between people, but also within oneself.
4. Zodiac Sign Cancer
Cancer – the water sign that dances with the moon. The woman wears a soft rosé dress and holds the crab like a delicate secret in her hand. She stands amidst waves – a symbol of the emotional ebb and flow that makes this sign so profound.

Leo – here, strength meets elegance. The woman's eyes are closed, her hand resting on the lion's fur. It's not loudness that makes this sign strong, but charisma. The woman doesn't lead – she attracts.

Virgo – surrounded by grapevines, she stands in purity and stillness. This painting is like a deep exhale. Abundance doesn't have to be loud. In her resides the wisdom that the essential often begins quietly. Order, yes – but never without feeling.

Capricorn – she walks her path. Proud, quiet, unwavering. The woman in the red dress stands beside a white goat – a symbol of determination and clarity. But her posture reveals: Even perseverance can be graceful. Even duty can carry beauty.

Aquarius – flowing, bright, free. The woman pours water from a pitcher that never empties. Everything about this painting appears light – but not superficial. Aquarius stands for renewal, ideas, a zest for the future. And the woman reminds us that freedom begins with ourselves.

Pisces – dreamy, soft, detached. The woman is virtually bathing in blue. Golden fish swim around her – messengers of the unconscious. Her eyes are closed, as if in meditation. This painting is an invitation: to immerse oneself. In feeling. In oneself.
