A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Palace Garden in Karlsruhe. But to my great dismay, I witnessed a disturbing scene. The garden was strewn with a lot of trash on the weekend. Food scraps, pizza boxes, and McDonald's bags were lying everywhere. Even the beautiful mythological statues were defaced with graffiti. This sight made me sad, as the Palace Garden once enchanted its visitors with its beauty.

But then something happened that deeply touched me. The next day, I saw two young girls walking along the lake. Empty wine bottles and even an office chair were floating in the Palace Lake. One of the girls didn't hesitate for long, resolutely rolled up her pants, and stepped into the lake. She pulled the polluted office chair out of the water. In that moment, she appeared to me like a true hero, simply acting to make her city a little more beautiful.
It is extremely regrettable that cities are becoming increasingly dirty, and there is little appreciation not only for these once beautifully landscaped parks. How can we counteract this growing lack of culture?
The girl from Karlsruhe inspired me to delve into this topic. My concern is to portray the aesthetics of European culture and to remind people of these values. With my series of paintings "Oases of Beauty", I want to portray women in aesthetically designed landscapes. My aim is not only to depict untouched nature but rather to illustrate the harmonious dialogue between human beings and nature. The wonderful parks and palace gardens that I was able to visit as a child in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) still serve as a great source of inspiration for me. I firmly believe that a beautiful environment is a blessing for the human soul and an important cultural asset.

In my first series of paintings on this theme, I dedicate myself to golf courses and portray my women as sensual golfers. My goal is to show a harmonious connection between nature and femininity. I not only consider the stylish golf outfits but also attach great importance to aesthetics and the appreciation of our surroundings. As someone who doesn't play golf myself, I am very excited about this project, as it offers me the opportunity to learn more about this sport and discover the passion behind it.
I would like to dedicate the series "More Beautiful Golf: An Oasis of Aesthetics" to culturally interested people who love aesthetic landscapes and want to understand and preserve the value of well-maintained surroundings.
