Ekaterina Moré painted the six wives of a millionaire from Abu Dhabi
Her paintings have something divine: they have always focused on femininity. All show beautiful women, mostly with full lips, accentuated hips and plenty of fabric. The Düsseldorf artist Ekaterina Moré does not want to show naked truths on canvas – but the sensuality of the men's magazine "Playboy", for which she realized art projects like "Eve Vögt Tochter" (Eve Feeds Daughter). With beautiful Playmates who shed their clothes on canvas.
Now the 46-year-old herself has entered into business with a sheikh from Abu Dhabi. The Arab multi-millionaire commissioned Moré to create a very special work of art: portraits of his six wives – all as seductively beautiful Venus figures, scantily clad. "I saw them almost naked for the paintings. When the pictures were finished, they were packed and sent directly to Abu Dhabi. The whole thing is a private commission. No one but the artist and the client is allowed to see the works."
But why all the effort for pictures that no one gets to see? "I've received some strange commissions," says Ekaterina Moré, "this is the latest."
