Journal Katjuscha - "Ocean Waves and Fire - New Projects by Artist Ekaterina Moré"

Zeitschrift Katjuscha - "Meereswellen und Feuer - Neue Projekte der Künstlerin Ekaterina Moré"

An extensive article about my new art projects appeared in the Russian-language magazine Katyusha under the poetic title „Морские волны и пламя костра““Sea Waves and the Fire of the Heart”. The article highlights my powerfully symbolic female portraits, in which the elements of water and fire appear as symbols of female energy, passion, and inner balance.

My painting often moves between these poles: the gentle, flowing principle of water stands for intuition, devotion, and emotional depth; fire, on the other hand, embodies vitality, passion, and creative power. In many of my new works, these opposites merge – like two forces of one soul.

“I wanted to show the feminine as natural energy – strong and sensual, calm yet filled with inner fire.”

The article features several of my current paintings, including large-format works with mythical, nature-related motifs: female figures amidst waves, forests, and flames. These symbolic depictions connect to universal archetypes – the lover, the warrior, the muse, the creator.

The magazine describes my art as “visual poetry about women,” where color, form, and movement dance together. My characteristic luminous red, blue, and gold tones create an atmosphere of warmth and vitality, while clear lines convey peace and strength.

In addition to its thematic depth, the article also addresses my international activities – with exhibitions in Paris, Oslo, Hamburg, Munich, and the USA – and my artistic mission to portray femininity as a positive, creative force.

“Sea Waves and Fire” thus symbolically represents my entire oeuvre: art as a connection of feeling and form, of elements and emotions – an invitation to celebrate the feminine principle in all its beauty.
