The True Power of Positive Thinking - From Wishful Thinking to Reality
In Search of Paradise
Aren't all people searching for lightness and joy, a paradisiacal state where one feels good and right?
As an artist, I have been searching for this state for many years. In doing so, I embarked on a journey of discovery with the goal of achieving and permanently maintaining this state. Through my artistic work, I have learned how to focus on the positive and harness the power of positive thinking to unleash my inner joy and creativity.
However, I have also experienced that it can sometimes be very difficult to maintain this positive focus and that this process can sometimes feel artificial and forced. In this article, I want to share my experiences and insights and show how art and positive thinking can help us. I also want to explore how we can discover and realize our uniqueness by sharing our creative power with the world.

What exactly is the power of positive thinking?
The power of positive thinking - a term often mentioned, but what exactly is behind it?
Positive thinking today refers to the belief that our thoughts and ideas can influence our reality. It's about developing a positive attitude to achieve one's goals and desires. It's not about simply ignoring or suppressing negative thoughts or emotions, but about consciously perceiving and transforming them.
Positive thinking has become an important part of personal development and self-management. It is often associated with the self-help movement and the New Age movement, but has also gained recognition in the scientific community. Numerous studies show the connection between positive thinking and mental health, physical well-being, successful goal achievement, and even longevity.

Why does it sometimes feel so artificial or forced?
Sometimes, thinking positively can feel artificial or forced. Despite our affirmations and good intentions, we quickly fall back into old thought patterns. Workdays become stressful again, situations and people annoy us, and we feel sad and down. These feelings are an important indication that we have suppressed negative emotions and are trying to continue to suppress them. However, without processing these feelings, we cannot fully experience the lightness and joy we strive for.
By allowing ourselves to feel negative emotions and moving through them, we can learn to confront our feelings and process them in a healthy way.

What are negative feelings?
First, it's important to emphasize that no feelings are negative in themselves. Feelings are part of the human experience and can help us recognize and express our needs and desires. Negative feelings arise when we cannot accept certain situations in our lives and resist them. We often lack the right mechanisms to deal well with such situations. We may not have had anyone in our environment who taught us how to deal with them better. Therefore, we tend to imitate what we were already taught in our childhood - we suppress the feelings that are unpleasant to us. We also often feel guilty that we cannot live as we wish and deny ourselves.
I personally have done many years of therapy to understand which thought patterns trigger these negative thoughts and how I can deal with them. It is a process to become aware of these programs running within us and to gradually reduce their negative effects. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to transform destructive thought patterns in their psyche at the deepest level.
How art helps me focus on the positive
The motifs in my paintings have always been like lighthouses for me, reminding me what it feels like to be in a state of joy and lightness. My artworks are like a visual marker that always brings me back to the path of finding these feelings again. Engaging with art is thus a living affirmation for me, showing me what is essential in life - to be in the here and now.
My self-developed style “Flowism” now plays an important role in this. Instead of strict lines or rigid forms, I rely on flowing transitions and curved compositions. This "being in flow" perfectly reflects how I perceive the power of positive thinking: always in motion, always open to new things, yet harmoniously connected.
I have also learned how important it is to direct my thoughts and attention to things that bring joy and inspire me. When I focus on the positive, I often find that more positive things manifest in my life.
Another important factor is learning from other people who spread energy and joy. As an artist, I love meeting other artists and seeing their works that touch my soul and inspire me. The exchange with other people who are positive and have a life-affirming attitude also always helps me to focus on the positive and increase my own energy and joy.

Strong Together
As an artist, I believe that we all have our own creative power to shape our lives and the world around us with joy. And I dream that more people will become aware of this and develop their true selves. A world where every person unfolds their energy and true self is a world full of joy, lightness, and peace. The power of positive thinking can teach us not to assert ourselves through resistance and struggle in the world, but to realize ourselves through harmonization and creativity in our lives.
I believe that women can play an important role in this process by supporting and inspiring each other. By focusing on our uniqueness and individual beauty, we can free ourselves from competitive thinking and build a strong community capable of bringing about positive change in the world.
And that is precisely the deeper message of Flowism: We don't need harsh boundaries or competition, but can naturally bring out our individuality – in a togetherness characterized by lightness and mutual appreciation.
