Art for businesses – elegant original paintings with identity and spatial impact

Hochwertiger Empfangsbereich mit zwei floralen Originalgemälden von Ekaterina Moré

Art for businesses should not be chosen only when the premises are already furnished and there is still a free wall somewhere. A high-quality original painting can become the focal point of a reception area, a practice, a hotel, or a meeting room – and visibly communicate what a company stands for.

For more than 25 years, I have been developing elegant female portraits, floral original paintings, and large-format art. Today, I combine this experience with my perspective on architecture, colors, materials, and a company's identity.

My art concepts often center on Floral Glamourism: stylized and abstracted flowers, clear lines, layered colors, and accents in gold, copper, or champagne gold. For companies in beauty, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, fashion, or women-related sectors, my female portraits from Feminine Glamourism or works from Flowism can also create a special connection.

This doesn't result in decorative corporate art by numbers. I develop an independent art concept based on the space, history, and desired atmosphere – with existing originals, individual commissioned paintings, or a cohesive series of works.

Sometimes a work may even carry a hidden message: a poem, a philosophical thought, or a love letter to life. The text appears as a barely readable trace in the layers of paint and is fully included with the painting as a signed artist card.

1. Why Original Art Makes Companies Unique

Business premises always tell a story. Even when their design appears purely functional.

A reception area can be high-quality furnished yet remain impersonal. A meeting room can have perfect furniture but no focal point. Often, it's not just another accessory that's missing, but a work that brings together colors, materials, and architecture.

Original art can fulfill precisely this task. It shapes the first impression, creates recognition, and shows that a company values quality and individuality.

Brushstrokes, layers of paint, fine textures, and metallic surfaces change with the light. The work remains alive and cannot be fully grasped with a quick glance. For me, this is the true spatial effect of original art: it gives the place its own identity.

Original art not only affects visitors. It also accompanies the people who work in these rooms every day. A work encountered in the reception area, hallway, or meeting room in the morning becomes part of the daily work routine. It does not create a functional benefit that needs to be measured. But it reminds us that a company can be more than processes, appointments, and screen work. It shows the people who work here daily that their environment can be more than just functional.

For me, art in companies is therefore also an expression of a cultural attitude. A hand-painted original tells of time, craftsmanship, material, concentration, and an individual artistic decision. It deliberately contrasts with interchangeable decoration.

Those who bring art into their own premises are not only investing in external impact. The company also shows its employees: This place should radiate quality, emphasize personalities, and leave room for beauty.

2. Floral Glamourism – Floral Art for Modern Business Spaces

Flowers are often underestimated in a business context. Perhaps because many associate them with pleasing decoration or classic still lifes.

My floral works take a different approach.

In Floral Glamourism flowers are enlarged, stylized, and sometimes taken to the point of abstraction. Clear contours meet multi-layered color fields. Gold, copper, and champagne gold absorb the light of the room. Botanical forms combine with modern Art Deco aesthetics and an elegant, generous visual language.

My flowers are not botanical illustrations. They are pictorial spaces of color, form, memory, and joy of life. A blossom can stand for unfolding, beauty, or change and at the same time remain open to a personal connection.

Floral Glamourism is particularly well suited for companies in beauty, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, health, wellness, fashion, and high-end services. However, the visual language is not limited to these. An abstract floral painting can also give a law firm, a real estate company, or a consultancy more warmth, elegance, and personality.

3. Abstracted Floral Art with Subtle Corporate Reference

Not every connection to a company needs to be immediately recognizable.

In abstracted floral works, colors, shapes, or individual pictorial elements can incorporate a brand world without copying it. A characteristic color nuance can resonate. A plant can symbolize a place, a product idea, or the founding history. Recurring shapes can connect several rooms visually.

For me, the line is clear: a painting may emerge from the identity of a company but should not look like an enlarged advertisement graphic.

Therefore, I do not simply transfer a logo and some corporate colors onto the canvas. I translate the underlying idea into my artistic language. This way, the result remains independent and relevant even if a campaign or the corporate design changes.

Visitors first see an expressive original. Its connection to the company may only become apparent during a conversation. This is precisely what makes this form of corporate art interesting.

4. Feminine Glamourism – Art of Presence and Modern Femininity

For companies whose themes are closely linked to femininity, beauty, fashion, or personal well-being, my Feminine Glamourism may be the suitable visual language.

My female figures are elegant and sensual, but never merely decorative. Some return the gaze, others seem to keep a thought to themselves. Modern Art Deco influences and intense colors combine with my exploration of femininity as a symbol of the soul.

Such original paintings are particularly suitable for beauty and cosmetic companies, fashion and jewelry brands, gynecological practices, clinics, boutique hotels, wine companies, or companies with a predominantly female target group.

A large-format female portrait in the reception area becomes a counterpart and remains in memory.

5. Flowism – When Connection Becomes the Image Idea

Flowism is suitable for companies that want to address themes such as development, creativity, collaboration, or connectedness.

In these colorful works, figures, ornamental forms, and colored surfaces flow into each other. The individual elements remain recognizable while simultaneously becoming part of a larger whole. For me, this is the core of Flowism: not dissolution, but connection.

This visual language can develop special significance in innovative companies, consultancies, cultural and educational institutions, or modern work environments. The reference lies not in direct illustration, but in the idea of the work.

6. Poetry in the Picture – A Hidden Layer

For some time now, a thought has occupied me: Can a painting carry something within it that is not immediately readable – and yet contributes to its effect?

In an individual original, texts can be subtly incorporated into the background of the image as fine traces. A poem. A philosophical thought. A love letter to life. Perhaps even a few lines connected to the history or ethos of a company.

The text is not emblazoned on the canvas. It is painted over, fragmented, or embedded in the texture. Individual words remain visible, others disappear beneath the layers of paint. The writing becomes part of the picture without fully explaining it.

The complete poem or accompanying text is included with the original as a high-quality, artist-signed card. Thus, the work possesses a visible visual world and a poetic thought that only reveals itself through its story.

For a beauty or health company, a stylized flower could, for example, be linked to a specially developed text about dignity, unfolding, or the beauty of life. Individual words appear only as traces; the complete text explains the story behind the layers of paint.

For a company anniversary, a thought from the founding history could be incorporated – not as an advertising slogan, but as part of the genesis of the work.

This poetic layer is particularly suitable for companies with a credible history, an intergenerational guiding principle, or an attitude that cannot be reduced to a conventional slogan. Specially developed, commissioned, or legally freely usable texts are used for this purpose.

Not every project needs this layer. However, where it truly fits, it can make an original unique.

7. Which Art Suits Which Corporate Space?

The appropriate art is not solely determined by the industry. Within a company, spaces have different functions.

Reception and Lobby

This is where the first impression is made. A large-format original can set a clear focal point and immediately showcase the quality of the place. Striking floral compositions, a distinctive female portrait, or a specially developed main piece are particularly suitable.

Meeting and Conference Rooms

Abstracted floral works or pieces with a subtle textual layer offer depth and conversation starters without dictating a single interpretation.

Hallways and Connecting Areas

Long walls are suitable for diptychs or a cohesive series of works. Recurring colors and shapes can visually connect different areas.

Large and Open Corporate Spaces

High ceilings and spacious reception areas often require larger formats. Many of my large-format originals are created in 140 × 100 cm. Beyond that, individual XXL paintings and multi-part solutions are possible.

8. From the First Room Photo to the Finished Art Concept

Every project begins with a conversation. I want to understand what makes your place special: its architecture, its materials, the people who arrive here, and the atmosphere you wish to convey.

1. Initial Assessment

You send me room photos, wall dimensions or floor plans, and some information about your company and your ideas.

2. Artistic Direction

I recommend a suitable visual language, color palette, and possible formats. I assess whether Floral Glamourism, Feminine Glamourism, Flowism, or a combination of different works makes sense.

3. Selection or Design

We review suitable existing original paintings. If no existing work adequately addresses the space, I develop an individual commission, a diptych, or a series.

4. Digital Room View

Selected works or planned formats can be digitally displayed in the rooms. This allows proportions, placement, and the effect of colors to be visualized before a decision is made.

5. Implementation

After our joint consultation, the original is created in my studio. Format, specific color directions, and the conceptual idea can be tailored to the company. My composition, painting style, and artistic interpretation remain independent.

6. Transport and Placement

Even very large formats can be realized. If a work, fully stretched, does not fit through a door, elevator, or stairwell, I work with the client and suitable specialists to develop an appropriate solution. Depending on the work, the canvas can be removed from the stretcher for transport and expertly re-stretched on site.

Thus, logistics become part of the planning – and not a limitation to the artistic idea.

9. Existing Originals, Commissioned Paintings, or a Series of Works?

Sometimes, an existing original is the right answer immediately. Its colors, format, and history match the space surprisingly well. In such cases, the work should not be altered – the space has, in a sense, found it.

In other projects, the architecture calls for a special format or an artistic idea that is more closely linked to the company. Then, a new original is created within my artistic language.

For multiple rooms, a curated combination of existing paintings and new commissioned works can be particularly convincing. A central masterpiece, for example, defines the reception area. Related works echo its colors or forms in meeting rooms and hallways. This creates cohesion without all the artworks looking identical.

10. More than 25 years of experience with art and its impact in a space

For over 25 years, my works have been created for private collectors, public spaces, and companies. Projects and presentations with, among others, Maritim, medical practices, beauty institutes, and AIDA have shown me how important it is for a painting to convince not only in an image but to truly hold its own in a real space.

When I look at a space, I don't just ask: Which picture would look good here? I'm interested in which work can achieve its strongest effect in this particular location. Which color is missing? Which sightline should be considered? Does the space need a large counterpart or a series of pictures to bring it together?

This combination of artistic experience and precise perception of the interior forms the basis of my art concepts. For hotels, I have described this approach in more detail in my article on Art for Hotels.

11. Frequently Asked Questions about Art for Companies

What kind of art is suitable for companies?

Suitable art is that which matches the architecture, atmosphere, and identity of the company and also convinces as an independent work. Depending on the industry and space, floral, abstract, or figurative original paintings may be the right choice.

What is Corporate Art?

Corporate Art refers to art selected, commissioned, or built as a collection for corporate spaces. It can support the spatial design and identity of a company, but should not be reduced to decorative advertising.

Can corporate colors be incorporated into an original painting?

Yes. Specific colors can be carefully incorporated and artistically interpreted. The work will still retain my signature style and will not be a mere transfer of the corporate design onto canvas.

Are individual paintings for reception areas possible?

Yes. For receptions, lobbies, conference rooms, or other representative areas, I develop individual masterpieces, diptychs, and cohesive series.

Can texts or corporate values be integrated into a painting?

Texts can be incorporated as a subtle, partially overpainted layer into the background of my abstract floral works. The complete poem or accompanying thought is provided separately with the original. Logos and advertising slogans are not the focus.

Do you offer digital room visualizations?

Yes. With suitable room photos and precise wall dimensions, I can digitally display selected works or planned formats in the space. This allows for an assessment of proportions and spatial impact before a decision is made.

Are large-format or multi-part artworks also possible?

Yes. In addition to existing originals, individual XXL paintings, diptychs, and series of works are possible. Transport and installation for unusual formats are planned early in the process.

Art that carries a company's story forward

A company doesn't just need pictures on its walls. And not every room has to be filled with art.

But where an original finds its rightful place, it can make visible something that is difficult to express in business reports and brand messages: attitude, origin, aspiration, and the idea of how a place should feel.

Perhaps it's an abstract blossom in copper and gold. Perhaps a female figure embodying dignity and self-determination. Perhaps a large-format work in whose layers of color a poem is hidden – like a thought that the space preserves for itself.
