Femininity in Steel – Ekaterina Moré in BILD newspaper with monumental sculptures

Art Meets Industry: BILD newspaper reports on Ekaterina Moré's first steel sculptures – powerful, feminine, iconic.

After an intensive design and manufacturing phase, two monumental sculptures by Ekaterina Moré have been completed: "Nähe" (Closeness) and "Frühlingstanz" (Spring Dance). The works, made of 15 mm thick steel, are over two meters high and weigh up to 490 kg – yet they exude feminine lightness and elegance. The BILD newspaper NRW dedicated an extensive report to the impressive premiere, titled "Soft Forms, Hard Steel."

The artist from Meerbusch, internationally known for her sensually strong female portraits, thus transfers her visual language into a three-dimensional world of metal for the first time. The realization was carried out in close cooperation with the company STAKO in Gelsenkirchen, which also oversaw the technical manufacturing processes.

Two Sculptures, Two Characters

The rust-colored sculpture "Nähe" remains deliberately unlacquered and develops its characteristic patina over the course of a year – a symbol of natural change and maturity. "Frühlingstanz," on the other hand, was sealed with a special black lacquer and resembles a modern goddess – powerful, buoyant, timeless.

Art as a Sign of Female Strength – also in Public Spaces

With this project, Ekaterina Moré proves that femininity can also find its expression in an industrial context – sensual, powerful, and self-confident. The sculptures are not only an homage to the female form but also a visible statement for more beauty in urban spaces.

"My visual language remains the same – only the material has changed. Steel gives femininity a new depth." – Ekaterina Moré
