The renowned business magazine "Geschäftsführer Zürich" dedicated a multi-page tribute to the artist Ekaterina Moré's work. Her art is a plea for feminine presence in an often overstimulated business world – sensual, strong, and inspiring.
In the autumn 2018 issue of "Geschäftsführer Zürich" magazine, business and art met in a special way: an extensive interview and an exclusive photo series introduced Ekaterina Moré – an artist whose works are far more than just decorative paintings.
Art that invites contemplation
In a world characterized by overflow and overstimulation, Ekaterina Moré's works invite reflection. Her female portraits are not mere depictions – they symbolically represent the human soul. The artist gives form to the invisible: presence, longing, strength, but also vulnerability are reflected in her paintings.
"My paintings stand for the presence and strength of women," says Moré in the interview. And this strength has many facets – from the divaesque à la Marlene Dietrich to the quiet melancholy of a modern soul.

Femininity as a source of inspiration
Moré's art is deeply rooted in the symbolism of female archetypes – deliberately staged, without appearing cliché. Her women look confidently at the world, often with a touch of enigma. They evoke Hollywood icons of past decades, yet reflect the questions and desires of the present.
Lake Zurich as a source of inspiration – “Still waters run deep”
A special highlight in Ekaterina Moré’s oeuvre is the series “Still waters run deep”, which originated on Lake Zurich. For this series, the artist staged her own photo shoots at selected locations – for example, in the Marina Lachen, in stylish bars, and on lake shores with impressive lighting.
The resulting motifs served as the basis for new female portraits that exude tranquility, depth, and inner presence – carried by the atmosphere of the region. The paintings show women in moments of contemplation and elegance, with gazes that turn inward but simultaneously radiate outward strength.
“I didn’t just want to paint beautiful places – I wanted to make visible the feeling that such places evoke in a woman,” says Moré.
This connection of space, feeling, and female charisma makes “Still Waters” an emotional homage to Switzerland and the female soul simultaneously.
Art in a business context? Absolutely!
The article also discusses the impact of art in professional spaces. Moré's works set deliberate accents – they create atmosphere, invite inner contemplation, and lend aesthetic depth with personality to any interior. Especially for female entrepreneurs and women in leadership positions, this art form can be a daily source of inspiration.
Bridge between East and West
Moré, who combines both Russian and Western cultural traditions, brings a unique perspective. Her roots in Eastern European sensuality and the clarity of Western design language combine to form an independent artistic expression.
"Many women today have become 'better men.' But are they happier for it?" she asks. Her art is an answer to this question – an invitation to return to feminine strength without compromising oneself.
