World Premiere in Düsseldorf: A Wedding Dress Becomes a Canvas - Bild Newspaper

Bild-Zeitung Düsseldorf berichtet über die Weltpremiere - das erste Brautkleid aus Leinwand

Art meets couture: In a unique project, artist Ekaterina Moré and fashion designer Lilia Sabantina combined painting and fashion in an extraordinary way. Instead of painting on canvas, Moré painted her iconic, sensuously symbolic female figure – a modern Eve – directly onto a wedding dress. The base: a model specially designed by Sabantina from primed canvas.

The result caused a media sensation: The Bild newspaper reported on the "world premiere of the first wedding dress made of canvas", followed by other press formats. The art dress was presented as part of a seductive photo series in "Honeymoon's" Düsseldorf showroom. Staged by a female Eve model, a muscular "Adam" and accompanied by floral decoration – a visual play with myth, femininity and modern interpretation was created.

Art that takes a stand: Eve as an icon of self-determination

The figure painted on the dress shows a strong, seductive woman with red hair, floral symbols and the classic apple in her hand – a modern Eve who embodies more than biblical temptation. Ekaterina Moré interprets her as a symbol of female strength, empowerment and joy of life.

"I paint women who belong to themselves – strong, sensual, independent. This time the canvas was a dress. It was a challenge – but also a powerful statement," explains Ekaterina Moré.

The typical stylized lines, clear colors and emotional presence of Moré's imagery also make this work an eye-catcher with artistic depth.

Fashion as a stage – and as a social statement

The campaign not only had a visual impact, but also a social one: The art dress was auctioned off for the benefit of the organization "Art against Addiction" – as a brave unique piece with a social mission. The project thus proves how art and social commitment can come together in an aesthetic expression.
