"Still Waters" Art Project on Lake Zurich

 

Art project "Still Waters" in cooperation with "Seesicht – das Zürichseemagazin"

Lake Zurich has always been a place for beautiful pictures, and Ekaterina Moré recognized that. She photographs sensual female motifs by the lake and transforms them into impressive paintings. Collaborations with ZSG – Zürichsee-Schifffahrtsgesellschaft AG and Yachtwerft Faul AG have already produced great works. Further photoshoots took place at Marina Lachen, Hotel Belvoir in Rüschlikon, and Zurich Airport.

"Beautiful is, Mother Nature, the splendor of your invention," Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock said about Lake Zurich. These words perfectly match Ekaterina Moré's new project "Still Waters," created in collaboration with the Lake Zurich magazine "Seesicht."

Lake Zurich, known for its myths and legends, provides the ideal setting for the mysterious beauties in Ekaterina Moré's pictures. The series features elegant female portraits that celebrate sensuality. Whether with a glass of red wine in a café overlooking the lake at Marina Lachen, enjoying coffee in the stylish restaurant of Hotel Belvoir, or in the VIP lounge at Zurich Airport – the motifs radiate pure joy of life.

 

"Surface is appearance, depth is being." This shimmering water surface symbolizes the enigmatic and profound, which the women in the pictures also embody. Whether femme fatale, mystical nymph, or modern sorceress – these female studies hint at a deep, pulsating world beneath the surface.

Still waters often hide more than they show. Like the nature spirits of ancient mythology, the modern woman remains a mystery to Ekaterina Moré. She combines the mysterious depth of water with the enigmatic dimension of the female soul, thus creating fascinating personifications of nature and its forces.

In the "Still Waters" project, the hidden and the visible merge. Dreams and mysteries slumber beneath the shimmering water surface, ready to be discovered through the eyes of the viewer. Friedrich von Schiller said: "Into the depths you must descend, if the essence is to reveal itself to you." And that is precisely what Ekaterina Moré's art invites – to discover the secrets behind the surface.
