Pleasure in Art – Sensuous Portraits of Women Full of Dreams & Elegance 🌺

Kunst und Genuss -moderne Art Deco Stil - Feminine Glamourism von Ekateirna Moré

In a world that is constantly accelerating, where appointments, to-do lists, and digital overstimulation define our daily lives, a longing for something else grows: for silence, for beauty, for a moment of pause. This is precisely where the concept of "indulgence in art" comes in. It stands for what we often lack today: conscious perception, sensual experiences, an appreciation of beauty that is so good for the soul. In my paintings, I celebrate these moments.

Indulgence in art is more than a decorative motif – it is an attitude. An invitation to feel yourself again and to experience with all your senses. Whether a woman with a glass of red wine in the evening light, a scene from a nostalgic café, or a quiet moment of dolce far niente – all these motifs reflect not only joie de vivre but also depth and consciousness.

Art thus becomes the antithesis of hustle and bustle: it makes us linger, brings us back to ourselves, and reminds us that life is about more than just functioning. Sensual, exclusive artworks like my "Feminine Glamourism" paintings transform spaces into places of experience. They bring dolce vita into everyday life, offer moments of tranquility, and inspire us to fill life with enjoyment.

If you wish for more lightness, more depth, and more dreams in your home, then discover my gallery of artworks full of sensuality, elegance, and feminine joie de vivre now.

I would be delighted if my art would entice you to more indulgence and joie de vivre!

1. Indulgence Paintings in Art History – Women, Wine & Joie de Vivre 🌺

Kaffeeliebe und Kaffegenuss im modernen Art Deco Kunststil

Indulgence is one of the oldest themes in art history – sometimes sensual and opulent, sometimes symbolic and fleeting. Especially in the 17th century, Flemish and Dutch masters depicted lavishly set tables, abundant fruits, shimmering wine glasses, and precious fabrics in their still lifes. These so-called "indulgence paintings" were more than decorative – they spoke of the richness of life, the beauty of the moment, but also the transience of the earthly. A silent call: Enjoy – but with awareness.

Over the centuries, the focus shifted. Indulgence was no longer only staged through objects but through people: elegant women in cafés, readers in the sunlight, friends in conversation – quiet scenes that celebrate the sensual pause of everyday life. They made the invisible visible: the deep, quiet joy of a moment.

However, in contemporary art, this connection was increasingly broken. Beauty, sensuality, and indulgence are often considered superficial today, too pleasing. Instead of warmth and aesthetics, concepts, provocation, and theory dominate. Many works stimulate thought – not feeling. Amidst this cool intellectuality, I want to show a different path.

My art deliberately places feeling at its center. I believe: Our soul hungers for beauty, sensuality, and true experience – especially in a world that is becoming increasingly technical, faster, and louder. Therefore, for me, indulgence is more than a theme – it is an attitude. An inner state that becomes visible in the aura, in the light, in the gesture.

At the heart of my paintings are women who indulge – not passively, but powerfully and present. They are not objects of contemplation but protagonists of their own story. They live the moment with dignity, depth, and a sensual self-evidence. Their attitude reminds us how important it is to feel life – with all our senses.

Thus, my works continue the old tradition of indulgence paintings – and give it a new, feminine perspective. Feminine Glamourism is my answer to a world that often forgets beauty: an artistic plea for enjoyment, for sensuality as an art of living, and for the quiet power of the moment.

2. Buy Sensual Art – Indulgence as an Attitude in Feminine Glamourism 🌺

sinnliche Frauenbilder - retro Fashion - im modernen Art Deco Stil

For me, indulgence is not superficial distraction and not fleeting consumption. Indulgence is an attitude – an inner state that embraces life with all senses. My art is precisely about this: not having more, but feeling more.

Each of my figures is an invitation to come back to oneself. She celebrates the moment – not loudly, but deeply. Not spectacularly, but with subtle yet confident presence. Her posture is upright, her charisma quiet and strong. Whether with a glass of red wine in hand, lost in thought over an espresso, dreaming by a window in an Italian cafe, or with half-closed eyes in the warm light of a summer evening – she embodies indulgence in its most beautiful form: conscious, sensual, alive.

These scenes do not arise by chance. Often, they are inspired by moments that I myself found particularly special: a cafe in Rome where time seemed to stand still for a moment; the glint of light on a wine bottle at sunset; the lapping of water on the shore of a lake; the melodic clicking of heels on cool marble floor. Such impressions are woven into my paintings – inviting you to remember what is essential.

In a world that often forces us to rush, my female figures offer a small respite. They represent a new form of luxury: the luxury of pausing, feeling, enjoying. They don't rebel – they lean back. With style, with depth, with grace. For me, this is feminine art that doesn't seek to please, but connects.

And so, every painting becomes a quiet message: You are allowed to enjoy. You are allowed to feel. You are allowed to be beautiful – just as you are. Indulgence is not a goal. It is a path. A path back to yourself.

3. Women's Paintings in Art Deco & Impressionism – Inspiration for Indulgent Art 🌺

Café - Genuss -Kunst im modernen Art Deco Stil

The visual world of indulgence in my art draws from many sources, all of which have one thing in common: they tell of life in its sensual, aesthetic fullness. They celebrate moments of pause, dreaming, and enjoyment – and give something magical to the everyday. These inspirations shape my "Feminine Glamourism" style and give the paintings a depth that goes beyond mere decoration.

A major influence comes from the world of Impressionism. Artists like Renoir, Manet, or Degas captured small, fleeting moments full of joie de vivre: a woman at breakfast, a cafe visit in the early evening, wine glasses, reflections, conversations. It is the gaze at the seemingly incidental – which suddenly appears precious in the light of art. This aesthetic still influences me today: my female figures are also often embedded in such indulgent everyday scenes.

I am equally fascinated by the works of Edward Hopper. His cafe scenes, urban night paintings, and the quiet melancholy of individual figures inspire me in their almost cinematic composition. Hopper makes loneliness visible – I absorb it and transform it into yearning sensuality.

Another visual heritage I find in retro poster art from the 30s to the 60s – especially in old travel and indulgence posters. These highly stylized, color-intensive motifs evoke a feeling of lightness, holiday mood, and zest for life. The famous saying "La vie est belle" seems to resonate through every line.

Art Deco painting, especially the works of Tamara de Lempicka, has also accompanied me for a long time. Her cool, elegant female figures, luxurious coloring, and sense of style form an important bridge between nostalgia and modernity – just like in my paintings.

And last but not least: cinema. Old Hollywood films, Film Noir, and European classics have shaped me as an artist. Whether Audrey Hepburn with a croissant in front of Tiffany's or Sophia Loren with a glass of Chianti – these iconic moments show indulgence not just as an action, but as an attitude. They inspire my staged photoshoots, which later become painterly templates.

Thus, my art is an interplay of these influences – a visual homage to the sensual life, as it once was, as it could be, and as it might just be in this moment.

4. Buy Women's Portraits – Indulgence Motifs Full of Sensuality & Meaning 🌺

Sinnliche Weiblichkeit - Genussbilder im modernen Art Deco Stil

In my art, pleasure and femininity merge in a unique way. Each motif is more than a beautiful image – it is an invitation to experience the world with all senses. The following themes give you an insight into the multifaceted meaning of moments of pleasure, as interpreted in my visual language.

Wine & Femininity
A glass of wine is much more than a beverage – it is a symbol of maturity, depth, and sensuality. In my paintings, wine embodies femininity in its most noble form: a woman enjoying the first sip, eyes closed, glass in hand – a quiet moment full of presence. The ruby-red wine reflects not only color but also feeling. Each scene appears like a frozen film still that celebrates life – quietly, intensely, stylishly.

Coffee Culture & Retro Cafés
Coffee in my art stands for warmth, rituals, and loving everyday escapes. Women dreaming, writing, reading in retro cafés – these are motifs that radiate familiarity and comfort. The scent of freshly brewed coffee is almost palpable in the air. Golden reflections of light on porcelain, the gentle glow of a morning scene – all this reminds us how precious the small breaks in life are. Art that acts like a warm embrace.

Dolce far niente – Sensual Rest
In Italy, it's called "Dolce far niente" – the sweet art of doing nothing. In my paintings, I show women who embody exactly that: serenity, enjoyment, letting go. They lie on terraces, look at the sea, let their thoughts wander. No pressure, no goal – just being. These motifs invite you to find peace yourself and discover beauty in silence. They are a counterweight to the noisy world.

Women Among Themselves – Enjoying Closeness
Shared moments with friends, mothers, sisters – they are precious. My paintings show this familiarity: two women laughing, drinking wine, looking deeply into each other's eyes. It's a quiet language of closeness, exchange, mutual support. Indulgence also means feeling secure, in honest connection. These motifs celebrate the feminine in community – strong, loving, touching.

Travel & Cruises – Wanderlust with Style
Whether an elegant woman at the railing of a cruise ship or a scene by the Mediterranean Sea – travel motifs in my art awaken longing and zest for life. I paint women who gaze at the expanse with a hat and sunglasses, their posture expressing inner freedom. Travel here stands for more than a change of location – it symbolizes openness, curiosity, and the courage to enjoy life stylishly.

Cafés, Bars & Restaurants – Places to Dream
My scenes in bars or cafés are snapshots of immersion: a woman at a round marble table, lost in thought, gazing into her glass. The lights reflect in the bottles, a golden sparkle hangs in the air. Such places are retreats – and sources of inspiration at the same time. Art that captures time invites you to rediscover yourself.

Gardens, Flowers & Nature – Landscapes of the Soul
Women in nature – with a sun hat in a lavender field, in a garden with roses, or sitting by the water – are a frequent motif in my art. Flowers represent delicacy and strength simultaneously. In these scenes, the deep connection between femininity and nature is revealed. These motifs allow the soul to blossom and remind us how healing it can be to simply exist in nature.

Enjoying Togetherness – Woman with Cat
A particularly intimate motif: women in quiet togetherness with their cat. These are scenes of relaxation, security, retreat. The cat symbolizes the feminine: self-determined, mysterious, gentle. These images show: enjoyment begins in intimacy with oneself.

Each of these motifs is an expression of how art and indulgence meet – not loudly and obtrusively, but poetically and deeply. They remind us how beautiful it is to feel life. With all senses. A little more each day.

5. Art for the Living Room – Indulgence Paintings as Emotional Interior Design 🌺

Genussbilder für Interior - sinnliche Frauenbilder im Art Deco Stil

Sensual art has the power to not only beautify a room but to transform it. Especially in the living room, dining area, or in a stylish lounge atmosphere, indulgence paintings unfold their full effect: they create an atmosphere of warmth, elegance, and coziness, in which one immediately feels welcome and inspired. An artistic wine motif or a dreamy female scene in a retro cafe can become the centerpiece of your room – and quietly remind you to enjoy life.

Stylishly incorporating art into a living room means working with conscious placement, light, and color harmony. A large-format painting above the sofa or next to the dining table draws the eye and acts like a stage for moments of indulgence. It appears particularly harmonious if the colors in the painting correspond with home textiles such as cushions, curtains, or carpets – for example, golden accents found in a table decoration, or a rich burgundy reflected in a velvet armchair.

Lighting also plays a crucial role: a spotlight from above, an indirect wall lamp, or even a small picture light can make your artwork truly glow. This turns a painting into an experience – not just visually, but emotionally.

In professional practices, boutique hotels, or exclusive cafes, an indulgence painting acts as a statement: it shows a sense of style, culture, and quality of life. It invites lingering – and dreaming. Precisely what art should achieve in a room.

8. Art as a Gift for Women – Sensual Moments of Indulgence on Canvas 🎁

Genussbilder als stilvolle Geschenke - exklusiver Art Deco Stil

A work of art is not an ordinary gift. It is a gesture that lasts – an invitation to enjoy, to dream, to pause. If you want to give a loved one something that is not only beautiful but also meaningful, then sensual art is the perfect choice.

My indulgence paintings in the Feminine Glamourism style are particularly suited for this: They celebrate life, the moment, the joy of beauty. A woman with a glass of wine, a quiet cafe moment, a view of the sea – each motif is a window to an inner place that we visit far too rarely. When you give such a painting as a gift, you are giving time, feeling, and an attitude towards life.

For special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, a new chapter in life, or a practice opening, an art gift is a wonderful way to express appreciation – beyond the material. It's about emotions, about what often gets lost in everyday life: conscious experience.

You can choose a piece that matches the life stage or character of the recipient – or commission a personalized piece that incorporates colors, symbols, or themes that are entirely personal. This transforms a gift into a true experience.

For what could be more beautiful than to give someone a piece of joie de vivre, indulgence, and feminine sensuality every day?

Genuss in der Kunst - Frau mit Rotwein - Feminine Glamourism Kunststil

Indulgence in art is more than a decorative theme – it is an expression of an inner attitude. An attitude of appreciation for life, for small rituals and great emotions. In my paintings, indulgence becomes visible: as a moment of silence, closeness, sensuality. As a homage to the beauty that surrounds us – often very quietly, very ordinary, but full of depth.
